I paid $9.00 for a lb.at a craft store and it was dark amber in color
I know you can order it from MannLake for about $5.30 a pound. I was just curious as to what beekeepers sell theirs for.
I sell cleaned, molded wax in flea markets and festivals. 1 oz. for 75 cents, 1/2 lb. for $3 and 1 lb for $5. People who know what it is grab it, most people ask what it is used for. Have a list ready.

I have sold over a ton of it on ebay @ 4.00 per pound.I was buying it from another much bigger beek for 2.00 per pound. That said another ebay started selling it for 3.25 per pound so I couldnt be competive and stopped selling it there. Now I sell it after it is clean in octagon molds for 5.00 per pound... Rick
Turn stumbling blocks into stepping stones
you can get as much as the buyer will pay. I use no chemicals and its considered organic or close to it as possible. I use most all I make in my foundations but clean wax is hard to come by.
