    OK, help me out here people. I have bought deep hive bodies from GA bees and some from Mann Lake. The frames sit lower in the ones from Mann Lake. They are different.Shouldn' t the top of the top bar bef flush with the top o fhte hive body?

    Depends on how the boxes are made. Some are made so there is bee space on top, others are made so the bee space is on the bottom.

    I like mine with space between the top edge of the frames and box, helps when putting on pollen patties.

    A "standard" box has 1/4" space at the top and 1/8" space at the bottom. They should NOT be flush with the top of the hive body.
