Those new to beekeeping on the east coast should be checking those hives and this late "indian" summer will give you a shot at one good feeding. In 7 days, you can really save some less than strong hives. Hopefully it will last longer than that. And don't forget the pollen substitute. They may not need it now but come Jan/Feb, they will.
