Anyone have a recipe for making a propolis ointment for a 1st aid cream? I'm interested in trying it out for its supposed antibacterial properties. Does it dissolve in oil so you could then mix with beeswax? Beekeeping for Dummies has one recipe but it's mixed mostly with parrafin (which seems odd). I'd also like to mix some honey in. A tincture would be the obvious choice, but then why not just blame the healing on the alcohol? Plus tinctures sting like all getout (funny for a beek to complain about that).

Yes. Not quickly, but eventually. You could dissolve it in FGMO.
