This Story is probably 'old News' to everyone, but I thought it was funny.

Once upon a time, there was an elderly man who lived alone in a secluded cabin on a quiet stream. One day, at the end of a long foot-path, while collecting his mail, a passer-by asked, "Why do you keep that bee hive on your porch?" Without looking up from his handful of junk mail, he answered. "Because the porch keeps my bottom board from rotting, the roof provided nice shade, and the house protects the hive from the cold winter winds". Then, looking the tie-suited stranger in the eyes, he loudly proclamed, "and it keeps the SALESMEN away!"
