    Hi all,

    I am almost finished with my first batch of mead. I was wanting to know if anyone here has made some and if they would like to share any info on the subject. You know "tricks of the trade".

    I read a great artical last night where this guy used pollen to make his mead ferment, insted of yeast. It was in the Speedy Bee.

    I read the same artical tonight when I got home. I make a lot of wine and what he was referring to is yeast nutrient not yeast itself. There is yeast nutrient that is a blend of B vitamins to help the yeast survive and grow. He is saying that you can use pollen to do the same thing.
