    If it were me I'd do it on the long sides. But that's me, I do things weird.
    Might even try little 2x4x4 blocks 3 on a side.

    Ann,
    Very nice. I get my 2 packages on/about May 1st. I like your green too -- although I did the typical white (I got my deep brood chambers from my Dad who's switching to mediums).

    How do you like your top feeders? I'm planning on using a bucket over the inner cover inside an empty deep.
