I have a queenless hive that was strong in the fall but with few bees now. Do I combine or what?I am afraid a cold snap will do them in and not sure if I can find a queen this early. Henry

On a warm day you could probably combine. You can always split a hive later.

Not many bees left, not sure they will last till later. A lot of mold in the lower deep, looks like moisture may have done them in. It rained here every day in the fall it seemed like. Not enough ventilation on my part looks like.
