    right. I see spotty pollen stores, but no eggs. Comb is dark brown but otherwise looks normal. It is not sun damaged, melted, moth ridden, and looks like it should be ok.

    mb, you think spraying with sugar water as if they were pierco would help with laying, or would that encourage nectar storage?

    I never tried it. I just let them take care of it. The workers probably didn't get it cleaned out to her satisfaction.
