    need help in finding bee associations in south eastern ky. can anyone out there provide a listing. I would really appreciate any help you all can give.

    Lowell, go to Yahoo. type in Kentucky Bee associations, scroll down to #3 click on and it gives a list of the Ky Bee associations contact people. Believe you could do the same thing through bee forum. Roy

    Although it's temporarily down for updating, the Who's Who in the Beeyard page at Bee Culture has many regional associations listed. Save this address for future reference: http://bee.airoot.com/beeculture/who.html

    You can find individual beekeepers in many states by checking the pollinator list at The Pollination Home Page: http://pollinator.com/polbkprs.htm Unfortunately no one is listed from Kentucky.

    Your county Extenion Office is another resource. Usually the county agent knows about local beekeepers, and may be associated with a bee club.

    Finally, you can check the labels on honey jars at your local produce stands to find links to local beekeepers.
