I would like to know about the Royal Jelly that is sold by various companies. I gather that it's from China. Is it the genuine product and are there any downsides to using it as a health supplement? Any one want to comment about it?
We bought royal jelly from Stakich in MI http://www.stakich.com/rfolder/royaljelly.htm to prime our queen cells with for grafting. I am pretty sure he indicated it was from wildflowers in USA. While I cannot comment on it's effectiveness on humans, the bees seemed to like it.
At least they didn't complain and I had pretty good acceptance of the grafts.
If you decide to buy from him, call the 800#. He advertises in the bee journal and gives better prices to beekeepers.
