    Walter Kelley is avertising the queen mating box. How does a queen mating box work?, can you use your selected drones?

    Its a deep size regular hive body, broken into four compartments. This way you can have 4 queen cells in one box. The queens still go out and open mate.

    Instead of individual nuc boxes for each queen being raised and mated, this makes it more efficient. Can move 4 queens at a time between yards with the move of one box, they use less bees for queen rearing, feed off each others heat, etc.

    Just think of it as four nucs all placed together. All other queen rearing functions remain the same.

    I'm guessing it's just a mating nuc. A queen will not mate in a box.
