I was surprized that this was not already posted here. Washington Post May 14. to save money and avoid possible duplication, the president has proposed to close three of the four Departmant of Agriculture bee research facilitys, including the first opened in the 1890's. Only the one in weslasco Texas would remain open. Funny how this administration favors oil and all things texas. At least he didn't say it was to help fight terrorism.
