bees gathering pollen in Feb 16th ??

My bees have had some warmer days here in Tennessee and are collecting pollen from some source?

the color is light yellow to bright orange? WHAT IS THE SOURCE? white pine? daffodils?

does anyone know?

It does sound like dandelion. We have had a very mild winter here in south NJ. We are seeing pollen come in the hive from what seems to be maple already. Down your way I imagine the little yellow pollen makers are starting to bloom.
