I got a new bee hive with nine frames of bees and brood with a marked queen two weeks ago, and made a big check yesterday, I found no queen and found three queen cells in the center of three different frames, there is still a few frames of brood with eggs, larva and capped brood, the queen cells are partly drawn out and are probably pretty new. Question; should I let the bees raise their own queen or buy one? There are three hives in the area that are producing drones and the bees are calm and not Affricanized.
