Hi Everyone
I noticed a question re: things to do when. I too am very new and could use some help. I was told that one of the Bee publications contained an actual schedule of events for a normal year. Does anyone know where that may be found?? This will be my first year and I am busy building hives and frames. A local queen breeder has agreed to sell me two nucs with queens and has helped me greatly. Its great belonging to an organization(Mountain Beekeepers Assoc of Georgia).

Brushy Mt. Bee and others have a poster with a yearly cycle of what the bees and the beekeeper do. I don't have it, but I have the life cycle one and it's very nice.

George Imirie's pink pages are some good reading. He is also out of Maryland which I think puts his calendar and climate close to mine here in Virginia.
