OK it has been a little over three weeks since I made a split....now this hive has 5 frames of capped brood.....2 of eggs and brood and 2 of honey and pollen and 1 empty......I went ahead and added another deep just now and baited it with the frame of honey and pollen that I want to cull as it was part of ther original split and that frame is fallng apart........I am keeping the hive top feeder on with 1:1 syrup until this is drawn 70% then I hope to add a super.......This hive is in town...will there be enough sources in July that I might get a honey crop?

    It all depends...

On the queen, the bees, the weather, the honey flow, the beekeeper...
