How many days after two boxes are newspaper combined would you consider the two boxes to be one happy hive? And would that time depend on whether there was one queen involved or there was two queens involved -one queen in each box?

The one that I combined a couple weeks back took only 2 days to chew up the newspaper and a week later all seems well, eggs and brood like always

Can you remove the weaker of the queen? It will go faster if both 'hives' are working at getting The queen settled IMHO.

A day or two at most and all the newspaper is gone.
