Another question. I have 7 good drawn out mediums to use, and 1 new one with 10 frames. Should I spread the 10 new frames amongst the other 7 drawn out boxes, or just keep the new ones together in one box. If so, when/where would I want to put the medium of new frames. Do I put it as my first super, or last or what. Steve

7 boxes of drawn mediums or 7 frames?

I would. They will draw a frame better when it's boundries are defined by the drawn comb on each side.

    >or just keep the new ones together in one box.

That works too, but not quite as well.

I don't think it matters that much. My only concern about drawn comb is the moths getting into them. If they are on the hives the bees will care for them.

My only concern about new wax is it buckling in the heat.
