Hives facing south or east?

Southeast maybe. Has anyone experimented? Wouldn't East facing hives get to work earlier?

I don't think it makes much difference as far as how early they get out and what direction the entrance faces. Of course putting them on the south side of a hill or the east side of a hill is better than the north side of a hill. It DOES make a difference with the wind blowing in the door.
