I have about 200 - 300 bees that constantly are hanging around the front opening of the hive. It has been somewhat humid here but even during the cooler days I still see these bees haning around.

I check my hive and I don't see any swarm cells but am I seeing the beginings of a swarm?

Probably not. That's just normal behavior in warm weather.

Be sure there is enough room for them. Also be sure there is adequate ventilation. Use a SBB or prop back the outer cover. Mine did the same thing back in late June and I did not have a super at the time to give them more room and did not give them enough ventilation and they swarmed early July.

I have the same thing with one of my colonies.
They aren't fanning or flying, they're just sittin' on the porch. Bees are still flying in and out but it's not as busy (it has maybe only 2/3 the bees) as the one right beside it has.
Lots of room in the boxes, SBB and there is lots for them to do since the top super has undrawn frames in it.
It just seems to be these bees.
