Was offered about 40 deeps today,( owner of the hives past away 8 years ago). hives were stored in his attic.. on one of the hives was "afb 08/1983" I have to assume this hive was infective..My ? is can i still use this hive or am i better off getting rid of them..Thanks again for all of your time.
Alot of people either burn the infected parts or scorch them with a torch to kill the spores
thats quick, i have already thrown away the frames,(wax moths took care of the surplus wax for me) the only items that i would like to save is the boxes.. will torch the insides.. thanks again.
