Harvesting partial supers?

I, like Mike, will be harvesting this weekend. I have a second super on the hive that is only partially drawn out, a little capped, and some uncapped. It's been in this same condition for around a month.

What should I do with this super? Extract what is there? What do you all do when in this situation?

If it's been that way for a month, and it's half capped, it's probably dry enough to extract. Especially when it gets mixed with a lot of honey that is capped.

I give it the "Nectar on my boots" test first.
Shake the frame towards you feet and look for wet spots. If wet then that frame goes back, if not then it gets extracted and then tested with a refractometer. I've spun out semi-completed frames that measured 18.8% - 19.4%.

If you have other capped honey to mix with you shouldnt have any problems at all.

Ive been running virtually all uncapped honey for a week and it is only about 17% moisture but as the Canadians would say alot of it depends on water management.
