Is it necessary to wire or pin Plasticell foundation into grooved frames? How would one go about embedding a wire into plastic foundation? The foundation has perforations on two corners forming approx. 1/2" triangles in these two corners. Should the corners be removed at these perforations? If the corners are removed will the little triangular gaps go to the top of the frame or the bottom of the frame?
Thanx,
George

It is not necessary to add any support, such as wires or pins, to Plasticell foundation. Just place it into the top and bottom grooves-----and it's good to go.
The triangular pop-outs can be either left in or popped out. If you do pop them, then the triangle "opening" goes at the bottom of the frame to allow bees to pass from one side to the other without going around the wood frame.
I usually don't pop these out.
