feeding during pollination

I got a call today to put my 5 hives at a local orchard. Am I suppose to be feeding 1:1 syrup while the bees pollinate or will this conflict??

Honey bees pollinate as a side-effect of their
nectar gathering, so feeding syrup would tend
to reduce pollination potential.
