the first few stings I got this year itched like a beeitch..
the next one a couple of weeks later swelled up my wrist and the area was really really hot..like a bad sunburn..
the one I got yesterday, well my whole hand is sore as can bee..about the same as if someone had hit it with a sledge hammer..after a few brews yesterday I got to thinking why do all of these stings react differently?? its got to be the beer...the first I was drinking Budweiser..the second I was drinking bud light, and yesterday..miller light.. thats the only difference.. the bees are the same but the beer is different... your thoughts??!!

Try getting stung without the beer. I'll bet it will be less of a reaction.

I bet if you would switch to bourbon it probably wouldn't matter...

When I was about 7 years old, I remember my grandfather had a bottle of whiskey with his beekeeping equipment. He said he kept it for bee stings. I actually thought he rubbed it on. Hmmmmm

It was the BUDWEISER stick with Miller or a Heineken. Definitely no Coors (the color is natural, used to push cattle out of the mountains above the brewery).

If you're gonna compare beers why even mention the fizzy yellow piss water? Don't they sell beer in Tennessee?!

Good one wade! I'm pretty sure you can get some Bell's in Tennesse!
Actually I think that for every beer I drink before going to the hive equals 2 stings.
A couple of more stings and your problems should go away. In fact I need to go out and get stung again before I go to work with the commercial guy I work for. I have only had 2 stings this season and the 2nd one swelled up pretty good. But thwe 1st sting was kinda wimpy, in fact at first I thought I had gotten a sliver. Until I looked at it.
