I wouldn't do it here, but you'd probably get away with it in Oklahoma. How's the weather? Getting pretty cool in the mornings? Or is it still pretty warm?

I would`nt worry about replacing her right now if they have plenty of bees in the hive. Down here in the northfork valley of the red river i have replaced many queens as late as nov 15th but it is alittle tricky to do so. I would make sure that you are feeding with a in hive feeder and i would gorge the hive for a few days 1st with syrup to make them have something to do so they dont ball the queen. Also id get some dadant liquid smoke to use while you do it as it covers the hive smell for awhile. I keep bees here in southwest okla, and also swest ark.
