Scored today at an auction. One of the items was an unopened 5 gallon jug of PQ-80. My understanding it is a dip for preserving wood prior to painting. I also hear you need to dilute it with water. What concentration do you use if anyone knows.

    Hi Bruce,
This link should tell you all you need to know about PQ-80

5 gallons of the stuff will yield approximately 1000 gallons if you hold the dilution at 200:1
and at $439 I would treat the stuff better then gold.

Then getting a 5 gallon jug of PQ-80 and a 35# pail of Para-Moth was a fair deal at $12.50???

    Thanks Les

It was an interesting auction to say the least. Honey supers went higher than I was hoping for sure. $18 a super for undrawn standard foundation. Too much for me.

I did pick up a "fifth wheel" for my BobCat and a Gunness uncapper which were my main reasons for going.
