When storing frames with foundation, do you have to use Para-Moth or anything like it if you store them indoors? I was planning on storing them in my finished basement.

I don't live in Gerogia, but once I tried storing supers in my basement and the moths certainly liked it. Around here it's better to leave them outside so they will freeze, but closed up so the moths can't get in. I like to use certan to treat them for the moths. I don't like the chemicals. Certan is bacteria spores that kill the wax moth larvae but are safe for humans and bees.
www.beeworks.com has certan listed under wax moth control.
"with foundation" I would assume that you should have no problems, but I don't live in your area. With drawn combs is another story.
Clay is right. If it's bare foundation the moths probably won't bother it anyway. They need some honey residue and preferably some pollen to survive.
I live in Ala,& as Clayton & Michael said with foundation I don't have an problem here.
Our climate is about the same.
