I was hoping to combine a weak hive with a stronger hive. I found the queen in the stronger hive but after trying for two days to find the queen in the weaker hive I am tempted just to combine and let them fight it out. I know she is there somewhere as I see eggs and young larva. Would like the stronger hive queen to be successful but I am tempted to give up trying to find the weaker. Is it okay to go ahead and let two queens fight it out? Any suggestions? It is late in the year and I don't want to go queenless.

It would be best to keep the better queen. The best fighter may not be the best queen.

    Try these:
