Hi folks. I'm new to beekeeping and have been enjoying reading the topics covered in here . I'm starting my first 2 hives this spring, and am nervous as a hooker in church . Being in northern Minnesota, hopefully our cold weather won't hinder me to much. I hope to stop by daily and learn as much as possible to make this new endeavor a positive experience. Steve

Welcome aboard, Steve. I think you'll find this forum a good source of information. It'd be a good idea to find a few books and do some reading, and an even better idea to find a local, experienced beekeeper for some tips. Have fun & enjoy your bees! Feel free to drop me an email, I can relate to cold weather!
