1 to 1 syrup

how far ahead can you make 1 to 1 syrup and keep it. I just installed my packages and was told I must go to California for two weeks on the 17th. My sons said they would feed the bees. 2 hives just started

I've put sugar water mix in a jar. Kept it in the pantry for 3 weeks before.

Make sure the jar is clean! put the sugar water in when it's still warm/hot. Then put the top on.If the jar has built pressure or smells bad when you open it don't use it.

thanks for the info my sons dont want to make the syrup and each hive is using 1 gallon every 4 days now. the temp here is 50degrees and rain
