Was visiting Edwardsville Illinois, 0n the 9th of May, when a swarm of bees landed by the house I was staying in.
It's dry aspen. I don't know if there is much sap or water in it.
What is best month in which to reverse hives?
I have a wood lot, with cut and split wood in it, plus sawdust. The bees dig through the sawdust and seem to be biting pieces off the logs. What are they doing?
In which month do I reverse my hives?
Why do you reverse hives? I forgot.
R Weaver has good queens. That is where I get mine. My bees were a little mean last fall, and are a little mean coming out of winter. But they are like that every spring and fall. It isn' bad...
Do bees have to have water to eat crystalized honey, or do they just eat it the way it is.
If you want the ants killed and gone, put a thick, solid line of Boric Acid across the entrance.
How do I make a pollen patty?
What about pollen! No body is answering me!
My bees like to get into our chicken feed. It has some corn in it. Do they eat the corn or pollen or what? They also like getting into our woodpile, and eating wood it looks like. Why do they do...

I lost 50% this winter, out of 8 hives. All the ones that died were small swarms, and didn't really have a chance.
I had a half box full of bees, and they are dead now. They still had half a hive of honey. A lot of them were dead in the cells. Why do they do that? Any idea how the hive died? Also, I have dry...
Does anyone know of a bee yard for sale in Colorado? For purchase in 2013.
Thanks DC.
48 hours is what I'd do, to be safe.
It's a wax moth.
I signed it.
I need some Carnolian queens that have not been treated for mites or other such disease or pest.
Please leave contact information for yourself, or someone you know that is selling them. Thanks
Your bees no doubt killed the queen, or something happened to her, so if you don't find her, get a new one or combine it with another hive.
A yard with established bee hives, that some one wants to sell.
