    and I will add that when people pick up a nuc from me I insist on showing them the queen as I put the frames in their box

    1-all they can do is sting you 2- there is no such thing as sourwood honey- it` corn honey, in july stand under a sour wood tree for awile see how many bees you see - then go look in the corn...

    I have 50 hives, raise my own queens from swarm cells, sell some nucs, and a few double deeps each year, have not had any problems.
