    I would say you moved the bees to close to where they were. They are going to go where they came from, and that is under the falling tree. If they are still going to that spot, put your hive as close...

    I am getting $10 for a half pint, which is 12 oz. I won't lower my price, since last year I sold out before fall. If I sell a case (12 jars) to a store I sell it for $8.00 a jar. Cash up front.

    Good idea in feeding them now.
    And as far as bees moving eggs,,NO They Don't.
    Next inspection look close and see if there are eggs or larva in the queen cells.
