    I checked again today. In one week, they have drawn out both sides of 8 frames, almost completely end to end, except the comb isn't very deep yet. But they've been busy this last week.

    Last Thursday when I checked this hive, they had begun drawing comb on the two middle frames so I decided to leave it as is. I guess they just needed a little more time.

    Thanks. We do have a flow right now. Other hives storing the honey in good quantities. Not this one. I think I'll take you're advice and move it down to the middle.

    That's what I was thinking. I strain my honey and this won't be the first super I've used that had brood comb. Sometimes the queen moves up and lays in my supers.
