    Re: Moonbeam stock

I just went to the Russell website and looked at the picture of the Moonbeam.
It looks just like the bee that I posted.

On Wikipedia it says that Carniolan

  8. Re: Punctuality in the Workplace; Excuses, Excuses

If the problem is occasional or they let me know that they are going to be late for a reasonable reason I don't get upset. Things happen like car problems and traffic. Such is life. If it gets to be...

    Re: Moonbeam stock

I got two of them from them. They are mixed in with my survivors at this point. Wherever the bees came from I don't know but they sent me a variety of different bees that I tried during the same time...
  10. Re: Growing linden trees from seeds for the first time. Any tips would be appreciate

It is an interesting topic. It would be fun to grow some edible ones and see if they spread around and what not. I heard that the conditions for morels at least are very specific so they are not easy...
  11. Re: Quick and East Bee Watering Feature - Any Suggestions?

If you could run a line and get it like ten feet from the hives into something that gradually overflowed I think the bees would prefer the shorter route to it as opposed to flying further to where...

Hi, I was sort of kidding but not. I watched this very cool video about the correlation found between Mushrooms and bees and it got me thinking that providing some mushrooms throughout the woods...

  15. Re: adventures in lip balm...plz share advice and recipes

The lecithin I have is in a granular form. I found a couple cosmetic links that mention a liquid form of lecithin. I may have the wrong form.

Thanks, I will do some experimenting with the ingredients.
  17. Re: adventures in lip balm...plz share advice and recipes

I used lecithin once and have a bunch of it left over. Can you please explain how I would emulsify the honey before I add it to the oils. That would be helpful. Thank You! I'm new at lip balm.
  18. Re: adventures in lip balm...plz share advice and recipes

I didn't use an emulsifier I just went ahead and figured some of the honey would mix into the oils and wax if I stirred it enough but a bunch of it didn't. I know water and oil don't mix. I suppose I...
  19. Re: Smoker stuck closed - solution to avoid?

That picture reminds me of why I wear steel toed shoes to work.

I recall cleaning my smoker out with a strong twig. That should clean the opening out.
  20. Re: adventures in lip balm...plz share advice and recipes

It is interesting how even when I mixed it thoroughly the honey separated. I save some of the tubes that have honey in the bottom and I will follow your lead My Smokepole and give it to friends and...

  24. Re: Couple Balm Questions. Labels - Pouring
