    Opinions on Jawadis Bee Suits

I am getting a child's bee suit and had placed an order through Brushy Mountain. I now have a notice that it is backordered. I'm trying to decide whether to wait or order from somewhere else. After...

    Re: Swarm Trap Finished

I'll take a look at the feeder. I guess I'll try it this way for a while and if it doesn't get any action look at doing something different. The one hole vs. two hole sounds logical so I may plug one...

    Re: Swarm Trap Finished

    Re: My First TBH

I know, I almost hate to use it now but she would be very upset if I didn't use as a bee hive so hopefully it won't weather too bad.

    My First TBH

I have been working on my first TBH with a lot of help from my four year old granddaughter which explains why it looks so girly :D We both painted it white then I painted the blue edge. She did all...
  11. Re: Simple idea to keep top-bars in place (on new hives)

That's a good idea. What I was going to do was line up the bars and draw a line where the wall contacts the top bars then tack a small finishing nail beside that line. But I like the kerf idea. I can...

Re: Opinions Appreciated - Is the stealing???

I'm still waiting for bees so I'm not really a beekeeper yet but I still have an opinion :D Illinois has a judicial foreclosure system so you should check with the courts to see what stage the...

    Dead Bee Removal

So after reading both sides of the argument for top entrance vs bottom entrance I have decided to go with a top entrance on my tbh. So that leaves me to wonder, how do they remove the dead bees from...

Re: Question about Lemongrass Essential Oil

Thanks for the replies! I didn't think the "food grade" should matter since it was just being used as a scent lure and not something they were consuming but I just wanted to make sure :) I appreciate...
