    :).... funny. I didn't create the gouge therefore it concerns me. Is this something bees do in distress? Is it a sign of a problem?

    Queen is clipped, so it's possible she was on the ground. This is what it looks like now, soon afterwards. Calm and quiet. Should I go in or wait until tomorrow?
