Re: So Far So Good this Winter

If it ever warms up here I am going to check the sugar bricks and winter patties I put on a while back. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I went through this same turmoil while deciding which type of hives to buy. I would decide one way one day, then the next would change my mind. I finally went with 10 frame deep hive bodies.

Re: Anyone have a hive from BrushyMountain?

I have bought 7 complete hives from BM. I have never had any issues with any of the equipment. All the dovetails have fit perfectly and I am very happy with them.

Re: The ground underneath the hives

I put down weed blocker fabric then gravel on top of that about 2-3 inches deep. You will still get weeds coming through sporadically but you can either pull them or let them be.

    Good luck with...
