    I used a saw less than 10 ft. from a feral hive last summer, it was early and still cool and they were just getting out and they gave me no problems. I have also had hives that when I bush hog around...

    I moved my nucs a few miles away and am also feeding them. The reason I moved them is to try and protect them from my larger hives. I hope it works, I haven't gotten to check them this week.

    My SBB are always open, even in the winter. Ventilation is also very important in the winter because of potential condensation.
