What kind of problems can one encounter with tbh in cold climates with long cold winters and short summers?
I'm thinking Northern Canada , Alaska , or other harsh climates , near the arctic circle...

If they harvested your plastic frames they might have just scraped of the comb and honey into a container and put the harvested frames back at the same time.:(

There was some one that did studies on the purity of wax , all the wax they tested had pesticides in it even wax from deep in the amazon jungle.

Your wax might bee interesting for them to take a...

Maybee some birds have decided that your hive is a fly in.;)

Think about what time of day it is + weather conditions .

Its easier to go into a hive when most of the bees aren't home.
