    I use them I scrape the top bars clean and separate the frames a bit to put them in then push the frames closer. When inspecting I pry the frames with BB apart a bit before removing them works well...

    There are a bunch of golden rod's I guess they all have different aromas. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goldenrod. When I walk the dogs they eat the leaves as if having a salad.

    Rweaver is right. If larva are making it to the ground they have already trashed a bunch of honey and you should notice it during an inspection before they leave the hive. If ya don’t check your hive...

    It's not hard to keep your bees unregistered. It's not like the inspectors are driving around looking for renegade beekeepers.I know a few that don't and they have problems and don't know what to do....

    So I use pint jars with quail waterers on top of brood frames with an extra box I fill em just before it gets dark they take it before the sun comes up. zero robbing.

    Well GR is sown naturally in the fall. Once the flowers turn to fluff the wind blows it around or it just falls to the ground

    Looks like mine if they go queenless and get robbed out. From what I've read bees don't rob out hives that have crashed from CCD
