    been there, done that.
    a hair dryer will soften the wax and a paper towel with rubbing alcohol works well but is flammable. Buy a cheap hot plate and do it outside.

    hi all,
    got my first package 7 days ago, queen was out on 3rd day, removed cage did not lift any frames.
    day 5; they swarmed, collected the bees and found the queen (clipped& marked) on the ground...
