    Lost one of my NUCs

    Well...they just couldn't handle the freezing temps. There was still some honey in a frame but they didn't make it. :(

    I have read some information about using both a screened bottom as well as using a screened but weather protected vent on the top.

    Not only to help with the moisture but also to help the bees...
