    I cut the top of an old tote then cut a inch an half thick foam almost the same size as tote. The foam will float when filled with water and bees drink from the edge of foam. No need for for lift...

    you want to have good frames with pollen and honey next to your brood/cluster this time of year. i would remove the bottom box new frames with no wax build up and place bottom box frames 8,9 & 10...

    how many hives did u have on how many acres?
    I pollinated some alfalfa seed and had some EFB and blame it on stress of bees due to lack of forage and probably had weaker queen's.
