    Re: Dave

Yep, a full grown mouse can fit through an opening slightly bigger than a pencil. I use to be a pest control operator....the only reason I know that.

    Re: Dave

Dave you could probably come up with some sort of flow chart to give you some metrics on what is going on. What do you have going on? You said "no mites", are you treating? TF? Have you sent any of...

    Re: Which foundation?

If you put wax next to plastic they will likely not draw the plastic......I use all plastic and they draw it fine but it is the only option I give them.

    Re: Mites finally got me

Why do you even post? Do you remember Thumpers mother's saying? "If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all." I think that is appropriate in this instance.
  9. Re: Guerilla Beekeepers Spehar frame - Review Part 1

Thanks! I did forget to mention I have no affiliation with them except they sent me these to do a review when I requested it. I like them, I hope they hold up well!

    Re: 2 Of 3 Flying today ?

Worrying about it won't help you recover any better! But all of mine were flying today except one so I took the cover off and a mess of bees were up in the candy so it may be they just don't feel...
  11. Re: Transporting Packages... Best way to keep them contained?

If you are at all nervous about it you can put each one i a mesh laundry bag, if any get out they shouldn't get out of the bag. But like the others have said, it is unlikely you will have any...

    Re: They are all dead...

The only thing I would consider adding to that advice is when you requeen, assuming you allow them to build up to six or so frames of brood AND you have drawn comb. Rather than disbatch the original...

    Re: They are all dead...

Funny :lpf: It's not a leap to guess mites if you did nothing to control mites and everything else looks ok. Plus it is a guess from a distance, over the internet. Seem legit to me that anyone...

    Not needed....It is funny! ;)

I've never needed to check the actual temp before, when I set the dial to 400 the frozen pizza aways seems to cook in 12-15 min.
