    I've done this too for three years now with good results, but do it late in the evening when the bees are not so active...the dew overnight sort of settles it into the ground :)

    I LOVE,LOVE, LOVE Goldenrod honey....doesn't smell good though while they are working it! It has a very floral taste and smell after harvested :)

    The IPM board, plus, I do scratch off some of the drone brood and see if there are any mites in the drone cells. I just don't want to use the same thing continuously and develop resistance to Apivar....

    I just spoke with Per at Aventine, and their yeast is made with GMO corn, and the price is not but a few dollars less than MannLake unless you get large quantities.
