    Re: Dansk Farms

Agreed. However, a quick email can be sent to a lot of customers at once telling them that things are running behind. This would likely free up time because everyone would not be calling to find...

Re: Robert Russell is a fraud

Do a search for Robert Russell, not Rob Hughes. The person who is Robert Russell presented himself as Rob Hughes.

Re: Robert Russell is a fraud

When my orders kept getting delayed last year I sent a PM to Robert or Rob telling them that I was coming on a certain date and that I was leaving with either bees or a refund. I met and spent...

I got one on eBay but the focal distance makes it hard to use.

  10. Re: Purchased beeswax 'pliable' at room temperature

I must have bought from the same seller over a year ago. They advertised as all organic pure beeswax but when I got it the smell was awful. Called and he gave me the same story about apricot oil.

  12. Re: Extractor for Christmas? Who is getting one and how many hives do you have?

Ordered the 21 frame with electronic control from Brushy Mountain. Have 30 hives and 100 mating nucs.
  13. Re: Curious on Commerical Queen Rearing Yard Rotation

Around here that would be quite expensive. Virgins sell for less than that, and cell are less than $5.00.

Re: How does Mann Lake do it?

Their boxes are good quality but the outside dimensions do not match the other boxes I have. They will work but I prefer more standardization.

Re: How does Mann Lake do it?

I love ordering from Mann Lake but will not order any more boxes unless they conform the size to match those available from Dadant and most other suppliers.

    Re: Beekeeping Business Accounting

The only beekeeper's return I do is my own. Seems a lot of beekeepers want to play games with their payroll and I've seen enough business owners' (not beekeepers) pay thousands in penalties or lose...

Re: Raising Queen Cells Without Grafting

Oldtimer, I know this is an old thread, and I enjoyed it a lot, but could you tell more about the breeder hive you used when rearing queens professionally, and how it was set up to confine the queen?
