Tats can be touched up to make look better. A good artist can do wonders with old tats. Also the sun can do a lot of damage to tats so keep out of sun.

We are beekeepers in southern New Brunswick. We do local pollination and honey sales. We also do swarm removals.

tried wood pellets for first time today. was a real pain to get going, but 6 hour burn on one filling and an hour break in between. this is the way to go.
getting very close rule of thumb when capped ready. but myself i always take a few frames not capped completely. never take honey frames that the honey drips out of cells.
Great site thanks for sharing
had bee inspector for my area have a LOOK he said the same. said what a shame beautiful brood pattern.
Can a laying worker look a lot like a queen. She had the bald spot on her back. She was a lot bigger than the workers but seem to be short.
borax soap works good the bees dont bother it mix it with izing sugar to get ants interested. they lug it back to nest two days gone.
I also used pressure washer. But it does have to be the one for hot water
It looks like some of my honey frames.
Just want to share my experince this year. Purchased 25 Queens arrived May 6. Weather has been bad and bees are not in the best shape. Didnt have a lot of hives to make splits. Took a gamble removed...
